Love Your Library – Superhero Meet-and-Greet

Join us for the Love Your Library: Superhero Meet and Greet event on March 21st, at 1PM to 3PM. We will host two story times at 1:30PM and 2:30PM, and there will be crafts as well!

Authors Luncheon – Maxim Furek

April 26, 2026 the Friends group for the Back Mountain Memorial Library will host paranormal author Maxim Furek at our annual Authors Luncheon. Doors will open at 11:30AM and Appletree Terrace will serve lunch at 12:00PM. Tickets are on sale now. They can be purchased online, over the phone, or by stopping in to the Library. Plan on attending this otherworldly event. When purchasing tickets, please specify if you would like to sit next to another guest. Seating is 8 people per table, so bring your friends for an afternoon of insight into the paranormal!

The paranormal author Maxim Furek will be talking about his new book “The Smurl Haunting: When Ed and Lorraine Came to Town”. Furek’s work has been widely acclaimed, his book “The Smurl Haunting: When Ed and Lorraine Came to Town”, recently inspired the new movie “The Conjuring: Last Rites”.

Through out the year the library hosts multi-day special events – some of these are fundraisers for the library and others are recreational for participants.

We have an extensive collection of music on CD and cassette available for you to check out.

Many tools can be found at the library to research and write your reports.
